In 2007 Lee founded the Take Away Theatre Company. It is now one of the one of the largest Theatre in Education Companies operating within the UK. Since 2007 the company has toured various productions reaching an estimated audience of 750 thousand young people! The company produce original drama that is powerful and engaging as well as retelling classic stories in new and interesting ways.

Lee continues to serve as Artistic Director of the company and has directed many production to date.
